Numo is a blood alcohol content (BAC) tracking app that helps you monitor your alcohol intake. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with care and transparency.

Account data

• Email address — used for login via magic link or OTP code

Profile data you provide

• Biological sex
• Body weight
• Preferred units of measurement (metric/imperial)
• Clock format preference (12h/24h)
• Language preference
• BAC limit setting

Usage data

• Drinks you log (name, category, alcohol percentage, volume, time)
• Meals you log (size, time)

Location data

We do not collect your precise location continuously. If you grant location permission, a single lookup is performed to detect your local BAC limit — this data is not stored or transmitted.

We use your data solely to:

• Provide and improve the Numo service
• Calculate your estimated BAC
• Sync your data across sessions and devices
• Send authentication emails (magic links and OTP codes)

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5.Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers within the European Union. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

6.Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@numo.nu. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to processing of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
